It started with ONE HELLO
Most love stories or any dramatic movies often start with "HELLO" but in this case, it started with "DALI-A!" (wait).
Last night, I was not in the mood to study nor do I want to take a bath. I remembered the date and sent a text to manang Jill asking how was her date. We (Jade, manang Jill, and I) were chatting in facebook and much to our surprise she suddenly called! Jade placed her on speaker mode. Manang Jill works in Makati.
"DALI-A! PILI NA!" Manang Jill was asking our opinion on what picture to post! That started a three-hour phone call!
The best thing about talking to people whom you've grown with is, you can tell a lot just from hearing their voice plus you can sometimes carelessly voice out your opinions!
While manang Jill was calling, Jade was doing a project while I was searching videos in youtube. Overall, we were all multitasking! Manang Jill was talking about her date and as hopeless romantic Jade can be, she kept on asking questions after question which really annoys me! "TAMA NA B! PATAPUSA ANAY BALA SI MANANG!" I told Jade! hahaha
What's funny about this phone call is whenever there is something very interesting Jade and I go near to the tab and look at a black screen as if manang was the black screen! hahaha
It was quite difficult listening to manang especially with a manic Jade but the emotions of Jade keeps the conversation going. Also, the challenge was whenever I have a follow up question, Jade tends to ask first! Then I remember when manang was still here, the feeling of the conversation is different! Let's just say it's so much more alive but I was more hesitant asking questions and listening intently when she was here rather on the phone! They say phone calls are not often that reliable because even the voice can act!
I like how conversations show how people grow and they tend to become closer! As a listener it's nice to hear pieces of advice that you didn't ask but are very relatable. Manang said "Na! Tuon kamo anay tapos makapagusto na kmo..." Whenever you let a person speak, unconsciously sometimes, their care for you comes out!
I like listening to love stories of real people because you make them smile! You make them remember and that's when you slowly detach yourself from a movie synopsis! Haha! Also, listening means a person TRUSTS you! Whenever you listen, always remember that the other person gives a part of him/her to you no matter what conversation that is because whenever a conversation is over, the attachment just began!

That's Jade with her tab and manang Jill on the other line. |
